did u realize that those hollywood stars that ever make it are usually extremely rich? and did u also realize that you and I have a hand in making them this rich? dun believe me ? try not watching movies or buying original DVD's for 5 years and you will see that most of these hollywood star's wealth will go dwindling down the drain man.

now, if we all have a hand in making other people so rich, i wonder why we can't do it to ourselves!!! illogical isn't it? maybe all of us should consider entering into the showbiz industry and let other people make us rich.....anyone with me? here are just glimpse of what i mean rich showbiz stars........

first, we're gonna start with John Travolta, most of us thinks about how many cars we wanna own when we are rich, but this guy thinks about how many planes he can have, this just makes him so cool man....

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved."Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out.

Terrorists themselves have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to" A Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was during the great fire of 1666.

Also, the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide." The only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate. " The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

It's not only the English and French that are on a heightened level of alert. Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides."

dunno how true this soya bean thing is, can anyone verify? well, i am just posting this for informational purposes only.......

All of us know that soyabean drink provides good protein to our body...
but many of us don't know that there are certain days we should avoid
drinking it.

Soya bean drinks are best consumed on hot sunny days when the sun is
strong. The soya milk will give lots of nutrients to the body as the
body is able to absorb the protein well.

However, avoid the drink when the weather is cloudy or raining. Taking
the dr ink in these weather, the body will not be able to take in the
protein and will result in a disease called 'GOUT' or 'high acidic
urine' due to the high protein residue in the body, after a long run.

This disease will cause pain to your knee joints and it will only be in
control when you control your food intake of proteins and medication.
The pain is unbearable and usually you will have no idea what you have

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Panadol, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student - but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses, and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I'm A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

the tablecloth

in view of the christmas season coming soon, i thought that this would be a great 
story to share with some of you. here goes......

A brand new pastor and his wife, newly assigned to their first ministry, to reopen a
church in Brooklyn, arrived in early October excited about their opportunities. When
they saw their church, it was very run down and needed much work. They set a goal
to have everything done in time to have their first service on Christmas Eve.

They worked hard, repairing pews, plastering walls, painting, etc.,and on December
18 were ahead of schedule and just about finished.

On December 19 a terrible tempest - a driving rainstorm hit the area and lasted for
two days. On the 21st, the pastor went over to the church. His heart sank when he
saw that the roof had leaked, causing a large area of plaster about 20 feet by 8 feet to
fall off the front wall of the sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about head high

The pastor cleaned up the mess on the floor, and not knowing what else to do but 
postpone the Christmas Eve service, headed home. On the way he noticed that a 
local business was having a flea market type sale for charity so he stopped in. One of 
the items was a beautiful, handmade, ivory colored, crocheted table cloth with
exquisite work, fine colors and a Cross embroidered right in the center. It was just the
right size to cover up the hole in the front wall. He bought it and headed back to the
church.

By this time it had started to snow. An older woman running from the opposite
direction was trying to catch the bus.. She missed it. The pastor invited her to wait in
the warm church for the next bus 45 minutes later.

She sat in a pew and paid no attention to the pastor while he got a ladder, hangers,
etc., to put up the tablecloth as a wall tapestry. The pastor could hardly believe how
beautiful it looked and it covered up the entire problem area.

Then he noticed the woman walking down the center aisle. Her face was like a sheet 
.. 'Pastor,' she asked, 'where did  you get that tablecloth?' The pastor explained. The 
woman asked him to check the lower right corner to see if the initials, EBG were
crocheted into it there. These were the initials of the woman, and she had made this
tablecloth 35 years before, in Austria.  

The woman could hardly believe it as the pastor told how he had just gotten the 
Tablecloth. The woman explained that before the war she and her husband were
well-to-do people in Austria . When the Nazis came, she was forced to leave. Her 
husband was going to follow her the next week. He was captured, sent to prison and
never saw her husband or her home again.
 
The pastor wanted to give her the tablecloth; but she made the pastor keep it for the
church. The pastor insisted on driving her home, that was the least he could do. She
lived on the other side of Staten Island and was only in Brooklyn for the day for a
housecleaning job.

What a wonderful service they had on Christmas Eve. The church was almost full. 
The music and the spirit were great. At the end of the service, the pastor and his wife 
greeted everyone at the door and many said that they would return. One older man, 
whom the pastor recognized from the neighborhood continued to sit in one of the 
pews and stare, and the pastor wondered why he wasn't leaving.
 
The man asked him where he got the tablecloth on the front wall because it was 
identical to one that his wife had made years ago when they lived in Austria before the
war and how could there be two tablecloths so much alike.

He told the pastor how the Nazis came, how he forced his wife to flee for her safety
and he was supposed to follow her, but he was arrested and put in a prison. He never
saw his wife or his home again all the 35 years in between.

The pastor asked him if he would allow him to take him for a little ride. They drove to 
Staten Island and to the same house where the pastor had taken the woman three 
days earlier. He helped the man climb the three flights of stairs to the woman's
apartment, knocked on*the door and he saw the greatest Christmas reunion he could
ever imagine.

when it comes to the phrase "a picture tells a thousand words", i totally agree with it. not only does it tell me what it means, it also tells me many other things about the person or item in the picture. it tells me about their creativity level, their stupidity level, their smartness level, their naive level, their humor level. their silliness level and many more other stuff. i really salute those people who actually took time off to snap such kind of pictures so that people like us can be entertained, amazing man. now, wait a minute, who's the silly one? the one snapping the silly pictures or the one watching/seeing the silly pictures? i leave it for all of you to judge, but here are some really creative/stupid/silly pictures that i would like to show you

first, a rowdy house owner. not only is he/she a very unfriendly man/woman who hates the world, he/she seems to have prefect engrish as well.....

anyone who don't have kids and really wanna have one or two or more, here's a chance for you to buy one at 5 bucks each, cheap isn't it? i dunno about their refund policy though, this you have to check it out yourselves, hehehehehehehehe!!!

this homeowner can't seem to find a real tree for christmas and so decided to be a little creative....

this place must have a lot of people with lost cats, probably people presume this place serves cat meat.....

many of you would have heard or read the news about the melamine outbreak in china, many innocent lives from dogs to humans have been affected. some to the point that they lost their lives. how can a country which is high and mighty with one of the biggest booming economy in the world now allow such a thing to happen? i am chinese and am personally proud to be one, china has been able to fly our chinese flag high for many years now but it seems to have flaws here and there. i hope that by the time china becomes the biggest economy (speculated to happen in 20 years) in the world, things like this wouldn't happen anymore.

explanation of melamine......

1. What really is poisoned milk？

It is the milk powder mixed with 'MELAMINE'

What is Melamine used for？

It is an industrial chemical used in the production of melawares.

It is also used in home decoration.
' US resistant board'

Melamine is used in industrial production，it cannot be eaten！

2. Why is Melamine added in milk powder？

The most important nutrient in milk is protein.

And Melamine has the same protein that contains 'NITROGEN'

Adding Melamine in milk reduces milk content.

It is cheaper then milk so it lowers capitalization.
It can give the business man more profit!。

Below is Melamine, doesn't it look like milk？
It doesn't have any smell, so it cannot be detected unless by lab analysis。

3. When was it discovered？

In 2007, many cats and dogs died suddenly in America .

Tests showed that pet food from China contained Melamine.

From early 2008, China reported an abnormal increase in infant cases of kidney stones.

In August 2008, China Sanlu Milk Powder tested positive for Melamine.

In Sept. 2008, the New Zealand government informed the authorities in China

to investigate this problem.

In Sept. 21, 2008, many food products in Taiwan also tested positive for Melamine.

4. What happens when Melamine is digested？

Melamine remains inside the kidney. It forms into stones blocking the tubes.

Pain will be eminent and an infected person cannot urinate.

The kidneys will then swell.

Although surgery can remove the stones, it will cause irreversible kidney damage.

It can lead to loss of kidney function and will require kidney dialysis or lead to death because of uremia.

What is dialysis？In fact, it should be called 'blood washing'.
It is the process of filtering all of the body's blood through a machine

before being channeled back to the body.

The whole process takes 4 hours and it is necessary to undergo dialysis

once every 3 days for the rest of your life。

birthday cakes

birthdays used to be a big deal when we were young, i remember we used to celebrate brithday every year from 1 yrs old to 12 yrs. and then it slows down a little bit, the birthday celebration after 12 would be sweet 16, 18 (independence for some western countries) followed by 21 (the official step into adulthood). after all these celebrations we would then only be celebrating our birthdays every ten years (30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100). i believe most of us would be following this sort of birthday celebration patterns meaning we would end up only eating 23 cakes of our own in our life time, cool statistics right?

anyways, birthday cakes used to be simple then. it eventually went into some form of standard style with fruits and cream all over the cake. nowadays, cake designs have become so amazing in designs that it really makes me want to celebrate my birthday every year, i am sure most of you will if you get to see cakes like these.......

5 C's in courting girls

this particular post may seem like it does not apply to me anymore as gone are my days of courtship and many of you know that i am now happily married with 2 kids and 1 more to come. but if u read on, it does still apply to me coz these 5 C's are ongoing practices that we need to work on in our lives, so whether you're in courtship or married or single, these 5 C's definitely applies to you.

before i go on about the real 5 C's that i am gonna tok about, would like to just reflect back. i remember during my days in girl courting, we used to tok about 3 C's (cash, car, condo). then over the years it went on to 4 C's & 5 C's (Career, Cash, Car, Credit Card, Condo). now i think it is 7 C's, not sure what the other 2 C's are (cool looks and castle???), maybe some of you can enlighten me as i am now out of this girl courting league.

now, do you guys really think that all the girls out there are all so materialistic??? of course not, your C's are not all that they are after (but of course if u had some or all of them, they definitely wouldn't mind, right girls?), there are actually more in a relationship than just the C's for example......

Chemistry
if no chemistry, how to like & love each other. u think still olden chinese dynasty times meh, where marriage is arranged by parents and chemistry comes later. you must definitely have good feelings for each other before you go on.

Communication
seldom in a relationship you see people not talking or interacting with each other right? you actually get to know each other in a deeper way (for example fave colour, fave food, fave kind of movie, style etc etc) through talking. part of duty and accountability also involves communication, this is something i am quite weak at and still working on (for example coming home what time, did/doing what said/saying what, bought what sold what, went where did what, ate what shit what, and all the whats and whats and whats lah !!!)

Composure
remain calm in all situations, when 2 people panic together things get crazy. try to be as patient and loving as we can whenever, whatever, however things has happened. a guy that can stay calm and be composed at crucial times are what girls love to see, so you all know what to do lah!

Characteristics
always be yourself, never pretend to be another person coz you can't pretend forever. a girl likes you for who you are, not for who you are not. if she wanted a jackie chan or tom cruise, she would have made her intentions clear. have your own style, your own character and just be truthful to yourselves

Compromise
other than religion that you cannot compromise, there are many other things that you can. let her have her way once in a while, let her win occassionaly, dun fight back all the time, swallow your pride once in a while....these are some of the things that we can do and trust me, it will make life much more peaceful, happy, joyful, fruitful and all the fuls

guys are always guys, always thinking how macho and brave they are when it comes to managing or courting girls. but girls in today's era is a totally different species from yesteryears, they have become so much more sophisticated, smarter and stronger than they were before and it is scaring off some guys to a certain extent. many guys nowadays are given the full wrath of embarrassment when they try to be overly funny with the girls. hopefully none of you guys out there gets into really embarrassing or sticky situations with girls. here are some examples of guys being embarrassed.......

don't waste food and water

when you see this, don't just keep it to yourself, go tell your friends out there not to waste the food and water that we have. there are people out there who are desperate for it.

This is one more reason why we have to thank God for the food that we can have easily.But in the otherhand....ironicly, we still waste the food that we buy I feel very GRATEFUL for what I have today.......We are so Blessed for the wonderful works of God's hand in our life today, just think of this ..............

'I felt very fortunate to live in this part of the world. I promise I will never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full I may be. I promise not to waste water. I pray that this little boy be alleviated from his suffering.

I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the suffering in the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests. I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us about how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted.

1. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.

2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.

3. Sleep for 7 hours.

4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.

5. Play more games.

6. Read more books than you did in 2007.

7. Make time to read Bible, worship and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.

8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.

9. Dream more while you are awake.

10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

11. Drink plenty of water.

12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.

13. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.

14. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.

15. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

16. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

17. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.

Grudge is one of those words that defines itself. Its very sound betrays its meaning.

Say it slowly: "Grr-uuuud-ge."

It starts with a growl. "Grr ..." Like a bear with bad breath coming out of hibernation or a mangy mongrel defending his bone in an alley. "Grrr ..."

Remove a GR from the word grudge and replace it with SL and you have the junk that grudge bearers trudge through. Sludge. Black, thick, ankle-deep resentment that steals the bounce from the step. No joyful skips through the meadows. No healthy hikes up the mountain. Just day after day of walking into the storm, shoulders bent against the wind, and feet dragging through all the muck life has delivered.

Is this the way you are coping with your hurts? Are you allowing your hurts to turn into hates? If so, ask yourself: Is it working? Has your hatred done you any good? Has your resentment brought you any relief, any peace? Has it granted you any joy?

internet has already become a wide known fact around the world (just like Christ has), from being a luxury it has now become an essential in our daily lives. people from all walks of life are involved in it may it be school, business, religion, personal, politics, health, etc etc. if only God was as important and also made an essential in our daily lives, i think HE is yearning for it, it's just that we can't hear HIM or feel it.

i realize that blogging has now become a powerful media tool that reaches out to almost everywhere that has internet access. i think this is exactly what God wants us to do, to reach out to every nation, every tongue and every tribe, the world is doing it at such a fast pace but why aren't we christians picking up the pace. many of us spends more time blogging or reading blogs compared to reading the Bible, we rather scratch our heads for new topics to write in our blogs when there are tons and tons of exciting stories in the Bible that has already been pre-written for us to read, ironic of us isn't it? i mean, nothing wrong with blogging, i blog also. it's more about remembering our Great and Mighty God all the time!!!

i believe that if we make more effort to remember our God and spend time with HIM, our lives would change and that we would be able to use what we have learnt through our lives to fulfill HIS will, commandments and the great commission. one of the reasons why i started blogging was so that i could share my life being a christian in a realistic world with as many young people as possible, of course along the way i have added circular articles, jokes, videos and other stuff but that's what it is all about. being a real person and being natural in life as a christian, doesn't mean that we need to fast 24hrs a day, preach 24 hrs a day, pray 24hrs a day, save a soul every minute, so on and so forth. we are still humans afterall and we sin constantly, that's why we keep needing to ask for forgiveness, no one's perfect except God!!!

i just did a quick check on my blog status, looking at the people from different countries that has visited my blog, it's amazing to find the amount of people that can actually publicly find your blog. if only we could reach out to all these people and share God's love. btw, here's the list of countries......

i remember when we were young, we used to play with our food for a few reasons, not only was it fun to smash and fiddle around with our food (like play dough), it was also a way to get away from eating it (either we were full or didn't like that particular food). i can't believe that in this latest generation, people are so creative when it comes to playing with their food.....

we live in a dangerous world nowadays, many innocent-looking people out there somehow or rather turns out to be crooks. the bad guys are coming up with so many tactics just to cheat, rob, and rape the true innocent people out there. it's a real struggle to be kind hearted and help people who pretends to need your help and then end up causing harm to us. this is where we need God's wisdom and discernment to tell us to help or not to help, in all things we do, practice wisdom and always be alert. do not be naive anymore coz the world out there is just getting too crazy, here are some instances.....

Today I passed by a building which has an ATM machine. There was an old man looking at me. Suddenly, he called me. He said he didn't know how to read, so he gave me his ATM card and asked me to help him withdraw money from the ATM machine. I answerd 'NO!! If you need help, ask the security to help you.' Then he said 'nevermind..' and continued to find other people to help him...

REMEMBER : ATM machines have CCTVs. If you help him he will later claim that you have robbed him or stolen his ATM card. Besides,his ATM card could be a stolen one. So please be careful of these tactics.

Suddenly your house lights go off. From your window you find that your neighbours still have lights. So you go out of your house to check the meter box. But once you open the door. a knife will be pointing at you and preventing you from closing it. This is when you will be robbed and injured.

REMEMBER : Even though your electricity suddenly goes off, DO NOT open your
door immediately. Look around to see if there is anything unusual or if there is any noise around.

This is another incident. You may have heard it before, it is about a lady who she saw a kid crying by the roadside. When she spoke to the kid, the kid told her he was lost and wanted her to take him home. The kid even gave her a paper with his house address. So she took him home. But when she rang the door bell, she had an electric shock. Later when she woke up, she was naked in an empty room.

REMEMBER : Being such a compassionate and helpful person might not be a good thing these days. Pass this on and girls, please be careful...DON'T BE TOO KIND!!

One day, there was an old lady outside my house holding 2 packets of sweets. At first I thought she was our neighbour and wanted to give us these packs of sweets as a gift. But then when she spoke, I can realised that she was foreigner. I could not understand what she was talking about. I guessed she must be asking for money.I sensed there was something wrong and immediately closed the door and ignored her. Later, I found she and an accomplice robbed someone else down the road.

I was at the ATM machine to withdraw some money. Behind me, there was an old lady. She asked me whether I was able to withdraw my money because she said she had problem with her machine. Suddenly a small girl came up beside me. The small girl was squeezing infront of me. I thought she was just naughty and playful. But then, the small girl put her hand at the tray of the ATM machine where the money comes out, ready to take away my money. I sensed something wrong and immediately pushed her away. Later I realised that the small girl and the old lady worked together. She was trying to steal my money while the old lady was trying to distract my attention by asking me questions!

REMEMBER: BE VERY CAREFUL when you are at an ATM machine and be alert.
Look out for anyone suspicious around you!

My parents are retired and stay at home most days. One afternoon, a young stranger went to their house and said his motorcycle had no more petrol and the petrol station was too far for him to push his bike there. So he asked my parents for an empty coke bottle to buy some petrol. He said he will pay RM2 for the bottle. So my mum took one coke bottle for him. He really took out the money from his pocket, but it was a RM
100 note. He told my mum he had no small change and asked my mum to give him the change. Luckily my mum was smart. She just told him to take it for free.

REMEMBER : obviously that note is fake!! Who would want to pay for RM2 for an empty coke bottle!! It's very OBVIOUS that that stranger is a trickster.

This happened in Bali . A newly married couple were having their honeymoon at the hotel. When both are in the changing room, the wife suddenly went missing. The husband was very anxious and went around to find her. He asked the hotel staff to help him find her. Then he thought his wife was just playing hide and seek. So he went back and waited for his wife. After a few hours, he decided to call the police. 3
weeks passed and there was still no news about his missing wife. So he went back and was very dissapointed and sad. A few years later, he came back to Bali , to watch a 'FREAK SHOW' in an old house. He saw a dirty and rusty metal cage.
Inside there was a lady without limbs. Her body including the face was full of scars. When he had a closer look at her face, he was shocked to find that it was her missing wife put there as a means for begging.

This happened in Shanghai. A few years ago, a lady reported to the police that her cousin sister was missing in the shopping complex. But after 5 years, one of her friends found her cousin sister begging at the road side one of the streets in bangkok, Thailand . The worst thing is that her cousin sister has no more limbs and her body was tied to a lamp post with a shackle (metal chain).

Let's just shorten this story. DO NOT open your house door when you hear the sound of a BABY CRYING!! It might be a trap! Women in the house must be alert to this trick. The police said it is the work of a robber or murderer using the recording of a baby crying to attract your attention.This normally happens at night and when you are alone in the house.

I read an email that was sent by my friend. Her friend, known as A, went to Luo Hu Commercial City with 2 friends, B and C. Luo Hu Commercial City is the Shenzhen counterfeit goods distribution center.There are many people there. It's also near to the ShenZhen train station and Hong Kong's Luo Hu Port. C went to the toilet at the shpping centre while A and B waited outside. After waiting for a long, time they felt
uneasy and went into the toilet to look for her. When they went in there, there was nobody inside. Both were scared and the called C's phone.There was no reply. So
they reported to the police. The police asked them whether they had seen anyboby suspicious going into the toilet. Both said there were none and its impossible to bring a life person out of the toilet without them noticing!. Then A remembered seeing a
cleaner pushing a trolley in, and then coming out. The police told them that was not the 1st time such a thing happened. The police suspected a gang of criminals who were always attacking women in the the toilet of shopping complexes. They use cleaners to kidnap people to harvest their organs for sale.

REMEMBER : please be careful when using the toilet. Do not go to the wash room or toilet ALONE!! Please at least have a partner with you.

p/s : i am not sure how true all these stories are, but in this weird world that we are living in, i think it's good to just take note. afterall, like they say "pervention is better than cure". we must definitely pray for peace wherever we are and ask that God will protect us all.

cars i've driven before

before a man is married, his car is his wife. after a man gets married, his car is his mistress. cars (big boys toys) and guys/boys have always been a perfect match, one that is made in heaven. seldom do you hear that guys dun like cars, you may hear them saying they dun like their cars but definitely not their dream cars. every man has one or a few dream cars, but not all can afford to own their dream car, so usually man makes do with the closest thing to their dream car or something that they can afford.

i for one am no different from car loving men. i love cars and i love to drive. that's why if i can afford, i will usually change cars every now and then, but if i can't afford then i will go to the car showroom and test drive around, it really keeps me happy. since i knew how to drive, i realized that over the last 14 years i have actually driven quite a lot of cars before. when i say driven doesn't mean i own them all, i may have owned some, borrowed some, exchanged some or test driven some, so all of you don't think that i am so rich drive so many cars before. here goes the list of cars i have driven before, i may have forgotten some but it's ok......

the first car that i drove (my dad's car) and crashed (no license at that time)

my youth pastors car, we get to drive it when we are ferrying youth for trips

also my youth pastors car, usually the girl drivers get to drive it coz it's got more power

my friends dad's car which i managed to loan

also my classmates dad's car that i would loan to ferry youth to events, very kind of my classmates father

also another one of dad's car that i drove around, but this time i got license and didn't crash it, hehehehehehe!!!

this is my former church van which again we drive around to ferry youth, maybe that's how i got into the habit of ferrying youth until today!!!

ta dah!!! my very first car that i own in Malaysia, cost me 5k during that time

another first, but this time first car in australia that cost me 1.5k (cheap rite?), i also used it for my first part-time job in domino's pizza

in our fast moving world, technology is getting so advanced that we are seeing things we could never have imagined. many men (dun count me in) would have wished that there would be a program perfect girlfriend or wife, one that they could technically control the settings of how the girlfriends/wives would turn out to be. i personally disagree with this kind of idea, as i believe God created us to be natural people that interacts naturally rather than technically. technology may sound fun but sometimes it does bite back at you, here is one instance.......

Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.
In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5 , and Racing 36.

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

This is a very common problem that men complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under ! Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE! Because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2.

However, be very careful how you use these programs . Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to

Purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system!

i am not sure if any of you still play legos, but i remember i payed them quite a lot during my childhood days. Legos are fun and safe to play, helps in your creativity and is a game that does not stir aggression (u know what i mean lah, its better than playing too much guns, bombs, swords, hammers, etc etc). playing lego keeps you healthy too. now, why do i say this, that's because playing helps your mind develop, doesn't spoil your eyes like computers and consoles, doesn't really cause addiction that makes you skip your meals, cool right ?

anyways, as the era is now heading towards modernization, whatever toy from the past that we love, these toys must now catch up in terms of playability and creativity. Lego i can say is a legendary game and many people still love it, here are some ways that people have made legos creative......

EIGHT LIES OF A MOTHER

don't be fooled by the topic of this post, it's not that our mother are liars, it's more like they are the most sacrificial person in anyone of our lives other than God Himself. i know it's not mothers day yet but it doesn't matter, i think they deserve credit all the time. read on and be touched....

~EIGHT LIES OF A MOTHER~

1.The story began when I was a child;
I was born as a son of a poor family.
Even for eating, we often got lack of food.
Whenever the time for eating, mother often gave me her portion of rice.
While she was removing her rice into my bowl,
she would say "Eat this rice, son. I'm not hungry".
That was Mother's First Lie

2.When I was getting to grow up,
the persevering mother gave her spare time for fishing in a river near our house,
she hoped that from the fishes she got,
she could gave me a little bit nutritious food for my growth.
After fishing, she would cook the fishes to be a fresh fish soup,
which raised my appetite. While I was eating the soup,
mother would sit beside me and eat the rest meat of fish,
which was still on the bone of the fish I ate.
My heart was touched when I saw it.
I then used my chopstick and gave the other fish to her.
But she immediately refused it and said "Eat this fish, son.
I don't really like fish."
That was Mother's Second Lie.

3.Then, when I was in Junior High School,
to fund my study,
mother went to an economic enterprise to bring some used-matches boxes that would be stuck in.
It gave her some money for covering our needs.
As the winter came,
I woke up from my sleep and looked at my mother who was still awoke,
supported by a little candlelight and within her perseverance she continued
the work of sticking some used-matches box.
I said, "Mother, go to sleep, it's late,
tomorrow morning you still have to go for work.
" Mother smiled and said "Go to sleep,
dear. I'm not tired."
That was Mother's Third Lie.

4.At the time of final term,
mother asked for a leave from her work in order to accompany me.
While the daytime was coming and the heat of the sun was starting to shine,
the strong and persevering mother
waited for me under the heat of the sun's shine for several hours.
As the bell rang, which indicated that the final exam had finished,
mother immediately welcomed me and poured me a glass of tea
that she had prepared before in a cold bottle.
The very thick tea was not as thick as my mother's love,
which was much thicker. Seeing my mother covering with perspiration,
I at once gave her my glass and asked her to drink too.
Mother said "Drink, son. I'm not thirsty!".
That was Mother's Fourth Lie.

5.After the death of my father because of illness,
my poor mother had to play her role as a single parent.
By held on her former job, she had to fund our needs alone.
Our family's life was more complicated. No days without sufferance.
Seeing our family's condition that was getting worse,
there was a nice uncle who lived near my house came to help us,
either in a big problem and a small problem.
Our other neighbors who lived next to us saw that our family's life was so unfortunate,
they often advised my mother to marry again. But mother,
who was stubborn, didn't care to their advice,
she said "I don't need love."
That was Mother's Fifth Lie.

6.After I had finished my study and then got a job,
it was the time for my old mother to retire.
But she didn't want to; she was sincere to go to the marketplace every morning,
just to sell some vegetable for fulfilling her needs.
I, who worked in the other city, often sent her some money to help her in fulfilling her needs,
but she was stubborn for not accepting the money.
She even sent the money back to me.
She said "I have enough money."
That was Mother's Sixth Lie.

7.After graduated from Bachelor Degree,
I then continued my study to Master Degree.
I took the degree, which was funded by a company through a scholarship program,
from a famous University in America .
I finally worked in the company. Within a quite high salary,
I intended to take my mother to enjoy her life in America .
But my lovely mother didn't want to bother her son,
she said to me "I'm not used to."
That was Mother's Seventh Lie.

8.After entering her old age,
mother got a flank cancer and had to be hospitalized.
I, who lived in miles away and across the ocean,
directly went home to visit my dearest mother.
She lied down in weakness on her bed after having an operation.
Mother, who looked so old, was staring at me in deep yearn.
She tried to spread her smile on her face;
even it looked so stiff because of the disease she held out.
It was clear enough to see how the disease broke my mother's body,
thus she looked so weak and thin.
I stared at my mother within tears flowing on my face.
My heart was hurt, so hurt, seeing my mother on that condition.
But mother, with her strength, said "Don't cry, my dear.
I'm not in pain."
That was Mother's Eight Lie.

After saying her eighth lie. She closed her eyes forever

hey everyone, young people especially, i just wanna say this....my eyes were wet when i read through this story. many of our mothers are taken for granted despite the sacrifices they make. love them and cherish them while you can, don't let them go through what the mother in this story went through. ice cubes

don't know about most of you, but every time i finish a glass of cold drink, you would see me crunching on the ice cubes in the glass. i seem to enjoy it coz not only is it cold (i love cold), the cooling water also flows into your mouth as it melts (sounds like food right ?)

i believe that many ppl like me likes to crunch or chew ice, that's because ice cubes that used to be in normal cube shapes have now evolved into multi-shape ones. i am sure all these different ice cubes are made to satisfy the needs of those who love it, otherwise what's the point of making so many designs, it's just frozen water !!!

these are some of the ice cubes that i would really love to get my hands/mouth on, but i don't seem to see it available anywhere in KL.......

monday blues - but still give 100% at work

most of you starts work on monday, a day that we usually call "monday blues". meaning that the weekend mood is still dangling in your minds and body, how you wished you could sleep in, how you wished your work at hand can wait till tuesday, how you wished that you only needed to work 3 days a week.....HAHAHAHA....dream on....most likely it wouldn't happen!!! unless you are born rich or won the lottery or "eating slipper rice"

in the Bible, it is written that we should keep our prayers simple and short because God knows what we want. there is no necessity to use flowery words and over-elaborate on one prayer item. i have ever heard people prayed so long for one item that my mind begin to wander somewhere else or even fall asleep, have you encountered that b4? I wonder if God is falling asleep too? (just joking, God never falls asleep on our prayers coz HE loves us so much)

many adults i believe has to learn to pray like how children pray. simple, short, straight-forward, naive and full of faith. these are some ingredients of prayer that i believe many are missing nowadays. no wonder, Jesus once said that we need to be like and love the children if we wanted to go Heaven. here are some samples of how creatively children prays nowadays......

Tiger + Piglets = Tiglets

In a zoo in California, a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately,due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny size, they died shortly after birth.

The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused the tigress to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate another mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.

After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only 'orphans' that could be found quickly, were a litter of weanling pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger. So what do you think the piglets will become ? pork chops or happy little tigglets? see for urselves...........

'Let me explain the problem science has with Jesus Christ.' The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.

'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'

'Yes sir,' the student says.

'So you believe in God?'

'Absolutely.'

'Is God good?'

'Sure! God's good.'

'Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?'

'Yes.'

'Are you good or evil?'

'The Bible says I'm evil.'

The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha! The Bible!' He considers for a moment.

'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?'

'Yes sir, I would.'

'So you're good...!'
'I wouldn't say that.'

'But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't.'

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. 'He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?'

The student remains silent.

'No, you can't, can you?' the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.

'Let's start again, young fella Is God good?'

'Er...yes,' the student says.

'Is Satan good?'b

The student doesn't hesitate on this one. 'No..'

'Then where does Satan come from?'

The student: 'From...God...'

'That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?'

'Yes, sir.'

'Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?'

'Yes.'

'So who created evil?' The professor continued, 'If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.'

Without allowing the student to answer, the professor continues: 'Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?'

The student: 'Yes.'

'So who created them?'

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. 'Who created them? There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized.

'Tell me,' he continues onto another student. 'Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?'

The student's voice is confident: 'Yes, professor, I do.'

The old man stops pacing. 'Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?'

'No sir. I've never seen Him'

'Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?'

'No, sir, I have not.'

'Have you ever actually felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?'

'No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't.'

'Yet you still believe in him?'

'Yes.'

'According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?'

'Nothing,' the student replies. 'I only have my faith.'

'Yes, faith,' the professor repeats. 'And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.'

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of his own. 'Professor, is there such thing as heat?'

'Yes,' the professor replies. 'There's heat.'

'And is there such a thing as cold?'

'Yes, son, there's cold too..'

'No sir, there isn't.'

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain.

'You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.'

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.

'What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?'

'Yes,' the professor replies without hesitation. 'What is night if it isn't darkness?'

'You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have Nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?'

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. 'So what point are you making, young man?'

'Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.'

The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. 'Flawed? Can you explain how?'

'You are working on the premise of duality,' the student explains. 'You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.'

'Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?'

'If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do'

'Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?'

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

'Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?'

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the Commotion has subsided.

'To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean.'

The student looks around the room. 'Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?' The class breaks out into laughter.

'Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain, touched or smelled the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir. So if science says you have no brain,
how can we trust your lectures, sir?'

Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable.

Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. 'I guess you'll have to take them on faith.'

'Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,' the student continues. 'Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?'

Now uncertain, the professor responds, 'Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.'

To this the student replied, 'Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God.
It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God.

God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.'

reaction of rakyat to government for trying to block Malaysia Today

seems like the "Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission" aka "MCMC" is living in the stone age, they thought that by asking all the local ISP's to block the website, it would prevent people from accessing it. however they dun realize that Malaysia is not the only country that has servers and ISP's, furthermore they also dun realize the existence of search engines like Yahoo!, Google and many other more that can easily direct us to the new site. i wonder if our ministers are actually tech savvy or not ? i doubt so.

anyways, malaysia today's website seems to be working fine, making it an insult to the "so called" local IT experts/minsters who tried to block the site. i was reading their article about...

"MCMC 'exercising its power' to tell ISPs to block RPK's site"

and after reading it, i was amazed at the reactions of the rakyat......here are some of them:

very seldom do i blog about politics, i do have my opinions about the situation in our country now but i had always held my peace, hoping that things would change for the better considering that so many people have already raised their concerns to the government

i love my country and this love have grown over the years despite the government's short fallings in their management. we already know that there is no such thing as total freedom of speech in this country which many has learned to abide in. but meddling with freedom of speech or even freedom of press on the internet is really going too far !!! it doesn't reflect that we are a democratic country, we're more like being in monarchy or communist ruling now.

here is what our beloved "Father of Modernization" previous PM Tun Mahathir had to say about this.....

1. When a Government makes a promise to the country and then reneges on its promise, then not only will the Government lose credibility but also any respect that the public may have for it.

2. I do not often agree with Malaysia-Today.net and Raja Petra Kamaruddin. He had been sometimes quite irresponsible. But court action had already been taken against him. He is not above the law and if he is found guilty there are already adequate punishment that can be passed against.

9. I would like to say this to the Prime Minister and his minions. You may have the power now. But as in five States, you may lose power some day. And this will certainly happen because of your obsession to block all contrary opinion from being heard. It will blind you to the reality of the situation so that you will continue to do wrong things and the people will reject you totally.
